The Mebone® Anti-fraud platform was initially presented on November 2007. At the business lunch organised by Sybase Iberia and Evendor Engineering During lunch, organizated by Sybase Iberia and Evendor Engineering, attended by all the national payment transaction processors and several major national banks, key issues relating to fraud in payment processes were addressed. Some of the solutions which the new platform offers were unveiled in relation to this important problem which accounts for losses of around one billion Euros annually worldwide.
The solution has evolved considerably and now includes a detection module based on behavior patterns using mathematical algorithms capable of self-learning and real-time detection.

Electronic System for Documentation Exchange (SIED).
Sistema 4B and CECA are currently using Evendor SIED for their electronic exchange of attached documents required in the credit/debit card complaint process.
Evendor Engineering has developed a solution based on Gutemberg protocol for the electronic document exchange among payment institutions. The documents that has to be attached in a debit/credit card complaint, are digitalized in the Evendor DigitAll system and these files are exchanged among payment institutions through this solution.
SIED allows the electronic exchange of documentation among means payment institutions and it has been recently integrated with global standars as VRol (VISA) and MasterCom (Mastercard).
SIED has meant significant cost savings (paper, transportation, storage, searching, shipping, ...) and it has allowed a reduction in processing time of complaints.
